Well he did a lot better with soul twisting than with sogm, also its the lack of speed that bothers me, with ST the bindings recharge so he can use them again and again while we go for the next. With sogm he is just a problem not a solution for me :/

Sorry, a little off topic, I'm was planning on doing Shard of Orr tonight in normal mode (yeah, that how I roll......). My main is a dervish. What hero setup would you bring? I'm thinking of just rolling like 7 copies of RoJ.

That should work, put roj on the 3 monks and 3 necros for a laugh and an easy dungeon^^
If i'm correct RoJ doesn't cause scatter in NM so you would seriously pwn everything. You should go Avatar of Balthazar for some more holy dmg pewpew.

For SoO:
Avatar of Balth derv(holy dmg and burning spam)
2 Roj-smiting monks(lol double beam holy nuke = win)
1 UA + 1 Protter(standard backline)
2 spirit poopers(to counter lack of MM bodies)
umh....some others heals/prots as backup or support shoud be fine i guess.

Yes, did it very easily. First time I ever took on Fendi without wiping once.
I was too lazy to rune my monks so I basically went:
Me - Avatar Balthazar/SY! (which I hated, really clunky compared to the Pious Renewal Spammer)
2 Necro's - RoJ/Protection
Necro - RoJ/Curses
Dual Mesmers - Panic and Ineptitude
Monk - UA
Rit - SoS / Restoration Healer
The mobs more or less instagibbed under the holy damage onslaught.

What was your RoJ/Curses build? I'm curious cuz that's what I'm running now.

Run Signet of Judgement and Spear of Light. Three will spike down the mob if you approach when they are balled (normal mode). I actually ran this with a bud a while back:
1x Human Monk (Healer's Boon)
1x Human Necro (Earthquake, Glyph of Essence)
6x Hero Monks (Signet of Judgement, Spear of Light, Smiter's Boon and Prots)
Worked great on hard mode. Easy mode should be a cakewalk.

Fendi in HM is still the real issue of the dungeon. Did it with 7 heroes, but wiped 1 or 2 times anyways.

Still trying out with different hero combinations. ^^ But just one thing is remarking to me: 70% of the builds is 3 discord necro's + 2 rits + 2 mesmers. I can see why everyone takes those rits and mesmers. But what's so great about discordway? I know it does a lot of damage, but it's just against 1 foe. Or am I just saying just dumb thingies?
I haven't tried 2mesmer/rit + discordway yet. But can anyone tell me is it one of the best choices or should I just stick to 2 mesmers/2 rits + 1 bomber + 1 healer + optional

discordway+ spiritway (rit's only)+panic
throw in a random discord with barbs, mop, death nova and some direct damage (rising bile or deathly swarm seem to be useful)

Agree, mostly cause i really do not like discord/sab/whatever way of predefined heroes. Generally i play:
-Me as damage dealer
-Heal monk
-Protter
-Sos(with P shouts like fall back and anthem of disruption)
-MM if corpses aivable(generally a AotL, i like 11xlvl 20 minions than some squishy bombs)
-Mez(generally PI or Stolen speed. Panic only w/ very huge mobs like aracni, Ineptitude only on strong meele areas)
-2 free slots to adapt to area: generally 1 support(curse necro/communing rit/ para) and 1 damage(Roj/esurge) with a little of healing. Sometimes a meele(derv or Earthshacker war).
Quite flexible, depending of area and what you feel to play.

Because they didn't buy mesmer mercs.
Lack of fall back is also baffling. Speeding up all that dead time in all PvE is huge, as good or better than killing things fast.

This seems to work well! I'm wondering if anything could be improved though... any criticism?

Modified my build a bit to include Fall Back. Thought about Anthem of Envy too but found necro is really not good at building adrenaline even with a spear since no IAS, and my other skills are important anyway. Suffering is now a blanket hex for FoC.

Finally some variety! (/Looking at the interesting monk bar)
P.S: SS + Panic/Ineptitude is a big nono.

In nm it is overkill, but in HM it removes alot of pressure while SS can still deal it's damage. I thought it SS+Panic+Ineptitude was bad at first until I managed to survive some of the biggest overaggro while vanquishing Jaga Moraine.
